With the flooding, I was wondering whether or not anyone was feeling the effects. I still have some family in Mercer and Hunterdon Counties, but they haven't had any problems.

I hope that anyone feeling the effects comes through it as well as possible.

My mom is supposed to drive down to DC for 4th of July weekend. I'm thinking they cancel.

Don't expect a nice "how are you" thread the next time Texas floods, or gets hit with a nuclear bomb.  We don't care.  We don't even care to pretend we care.

Farg Texas.

First, I live in Indiana, not Texas. Second, I lived in New Jersey in the Delaware Valley area from 1966-1998. Living in one place that long, I still have an interest in how people in that area are doing. I'm a human being before I'm a Cowboys/football fan. My post was basically to see if I could find out how people are doing and to wish others well, it certainly wasn't intended to rub anything in or create negative reactions. If this thread has rubbed anyone the wrong way, I'll delete the damn thing or GF can delete it. No skin off my ass.

Even nice guy Cowboys fans are still Cowboys fans.  Therein lies the problem.

It's not just Dio, it's the fargin' internets, brah.  Toughen up.  You can't run to Big Brother every time your feelings get hurt.

Long enough to see that at least on this message board, that person is a complete and utter jackass with the maturity and mental capacity of a blade of grass. Take things with a grain of salt? No problem, but it's still almost startling to see someone with the capacity to take idiocy to such new levels, even if it is only the internet.
