I actually don't mind preseason games. The weather is warm, and it's fun to watch the kids fighting for their jobs. But it's just a PITA to get there in the early evenings if you don't live in the immediate area.

im in the same situation as far as not being in the area...but id saw a limb off before i went to a nfl preseason game...ill watch the starters on tv and even a whole game if i have absolutely nothing else to do...but as a whole god are those games painful

I like watching preseason games.  You're watching Eagles football but there's no pressure on who wins or loses.

Same reason I like going to spring training in Clearwater.  It's more of a party than anything else.
