After the Burrell HR, they didnt have another baserunner. Sooner or later, the likes of Condry and Franklin are going to give up a run. Nice job shuttin 'er down, offense.

I believe IGY called this. Well, if they lose one more he will be right. Lose 3/4 after going 5-3 in LA/ARZ.

Myers threw poorly tonight. It was his first real bad start of the year. Its ok, everyone throws a turd up there every once in awhile.

But the real problem is that he only went 3 and the BP had to throw 9.

Lieby HAS to be placed on the DL and they have to call up a pitcher tomorrow. Hell, Gillick should've had a SWB guy on the way in the top of the 10th.

Abreu's throw was nice, but Byrd just beat it. Too bad it didn't get there a half a second sooner.

The real question is...if the Phillies and Nats play a game and there is no TV did it really happen?

What a bullshtein call by FOX and then by the Nats to not move it to a night game.

what really pisses me off is im packing up right now for my tailgate today and i have no excitement in me...losing the first two really takes the air out of the sails...no matter what ill be hyphy for king cole tomorrow but theyve ruined today for me...fargers

i didn't get there last night til about 8, and it ended up being perfect timing.

i left in the 4th inning b/c they stopped selling beer at 10.

I was at the game last night. What a dump of a stadium that place is. We were sitting in section 102, right next to Bobby in right field, straight down the first baseline. Should have been good seats. Not in that place. I have some old man from event staff talking to me the whole time about the good old days, even after I politely told him several times I was there to watch the game. The food was absolutely disgusting. The hot dogs were zesty, over cooked mincemeat, and the burgers at $8.75 looked like something an elementary school cafeteria would be ashamed to serve.
What pissed me off beyond belief was when they cut off the beer at 10:00. Furious doesn't begin to describe it.  I think it was around the fourth inning, and I am supposed to sit there the rest of the game with Pepsi and peanuts? Eat my ass. The wife was getting sleepy, the Phils were sucking it up, and we had to get back to Fairfax, so we left around the sixth. farg RFK, I'll happy watch the Phils/Nats game from comfort of my home on MASN with a cold beer in my hand.
Some douche in a Nats jersey in the row in front of me had the nuts to say CBP was a poor setup, and was more about getting people to buy shtein that having them have a good experience watching the game. I called him a 'tard, to which he just stared out to center field - quiet and motionless.
There was a shteinload of Phillies fans in my section, and I think we were giving Abreu more shtein than the Nats players at times. And he deserved it. One, from my view, in the second inning when he charged in on that line drive, only to have it go for feet over his head, was painful to watch. An average high school player would have made that catch.
Finally, what is the deal with Burrell not being able to pick up or get the farging ball out his glove? Christ.

there was a shteinload of phils fans everywhere, seemed like more than nats where i was sitting.

and yes rfk is a dump but they have some deliciouys sausage sandwiches from that dominics joint.  get one next time, they're awesome.

anyway, i'm going again tomorrow if any of you wanna get some beers beforehand.

Hey, I'm notr ripping you. We've seen it all too often with this team. Last year when they went 12-1 and then shtein the bed in SEA and OAK. And this year after winning 13/14. And now they do it after a good start to the roadie.

Hey at least you get to see Chris Coste catch today - he just gunned a guy down.

This game isn't being televised? I can't find it anywhere.

Nope.

FOX took it off their TV line-up. And the only way Comcast or UPN could get it was if Washington moved the start time to a night game because FOX's exclusivity window goes to 1630. Washington refused to move the start time. So it is only on radio. No TV in either market.

Lidle singles on a bunt to the pitcher

Rollins singles to RF and Lidle goes to 3rd

Utley flies out to CF and Lidle tags up and scores; Rollins goes to 2nd on the throw

Phils lead 1-0 in the top of the 5th with 2 outs

Know what would be funny and ridiculous at the same time? If Lidle throws a no hitter and it wasn't televised.
