I'll take the word of men who spend their lives protecting us over whiny bitches like you guys who weep for criminals while attacking those whose sworn duty is to protect society from the criminals we put away.

Oh please, we're talking about people getting gang raped and prison guards knowing about it and doing nothing. If you don't see the awful tragedy in that then you're just as idiotic as anyone defending the animals who commit these acts.

It would be simple to stop prison rape.  But it would cost money that is going to bombs and corporate profits instead.  It would take hiring more guards and paying them better.  It would take limiting the number of prisoners.


...and it would mean making larger facilities/extensions on prisons to control the overcrowding population, possibly lowering the crime in there with more surveilance--which could easily be done, but it wont because cities will not be allocated that kind of money, for tax reasons. So they continue to choose weaving these prisoners in and out of facilities, enhancing the pop. until they kill themselves making more room for "fresh meat". Sad story, endless cycle

it's never going to be eliminated, these are places with the worst people of society.  shtein will always happen.  but there are things that can be done above and beyond what's being done.
