the Magneto thing was dumb, dude got rocked by four darts.

Kicking his ass is pretty easy......if you can get to him.
Anyone but Reid.

Father Demon

Watched Hostel this weekend.  I had heard it was gory and full of nekid chicks, so I figured "why not?"

The nudity was really good, the plot was pretty thin, and the gore was just that -- gory.  Overall, it didn't do too much for me. I guess after you've killed a few yourself, Hollywood doesn't have much to offer.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

I dunno.  I just don't think Spacey can be menacing enough to play Luthor.  And I think Spacey is an incredible actor.

But Luthor is one bad farging cat.
Anyone but Reid.

Finally saw Sahara last night.  It was entertaining, but took quite a while to set up.

It's not hard to look at Penelope Cruz for a couple of hours, either.  :yay

i agree, but Hackman wasn't very menacing either.  i think Spacey might be able to pull it off.

Yeah, but that was clearly camp.  This is supposedly much darker.  Course, I'm at a loss who I'd rather have playing that part.

James Carville!

He's more annoying than menacing.  You need someone like a young Christopher Walken, but he needs to be convincingly brilliant.
Anyone but Reid.

Every time I see Christopher Walken I think of him talking about that watch up his ass from pulp fiction. I just can't take him seriously anymore!!

saw x-men last stand last night. i thought it was cool as shtein.  jean grey's character is awesome. the special effects were top notch.  i was alittle disappointed in the fact that they did introduce a ton of new characters from the comic, but didn't go into the history of them or give them that much attention.  that made it seem rushed at times.  it could of been longer i thought, but it was still good and if your a fan of the first 2 def. go see this in theatres.  there is definetly going to be more x-men int he future.   i just hope the right people do it.  :yay 3.5/5

X-Men 3  :cfhead :cfhead 1/2 - thought it was the worst of the 3, hated the death scenes, thought they were all unnecessary and lame. Movie had potential but didn't live up to it in my opinion. Not saying it was bad, it just wasn't as good as the other two.

Da Vinci Code  :cfhead :cfhead 1/2 - First half hour was exactly what I was expecting, rest of the movie was very mediocre. The entire time I was reading the book I was thinking to myself "this would make an awesome movie", but I guess I was wrong. If you had never read the book you'd be totally lost trying to follow the plot.
