Oh yeah I also saw
I, Robot: 2.5/5
Thank You for Smoking: 4/5
Death and the Maiden: 4/5
Get Rich or Die Trying: 0/5 (although 50 Cent does go for a little cheerio barking. If you want to see an almost identical movie that is actually watchable, rent Hustle and Flow.)
Audition: 4.5/5
The Machinist: 3.5/5
The Aviator: 3.5/5 (good for the msot part, but way too long)
King Kong: 2/5 (terrible, the digital monkey was the best actor in the whole f'ing thing, too long)
Good Night and Good Luck: 3/5 (boring hollywood tripe made so people who work in hollywood can feel like they are doing something to help society.)

"The Aviator" was awful.  I've tried to watch it twice and failed each time.

I've never understood why Leonardo DiCaprio is a movie star.  I don't think I've ever seen a movie of his and liked it.  Maybe "The Basketball Diaries" but that's it.

In any event... "The Aviator" gets 1/5  :cfhead

Finally saw "Batman Begins" last night...great movie, as mentioned many times by others in this thread back when it came out. Enjoyed it far more than any of the Tim Burton versions, as it focused a bit more on story, less on being artsy.

No need for synopsis, I believe you've all seen it already. Set up nicely for the sequel.

Waiting... sucked balls

Naturally, a 19-year-old Temple jew that's never worked at a restaurant would think that.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I usually hate DiCaprio, but I thought "The Aviator" was a fantastic movie with a lot of great acting.  I usually hate longer movies too, but this one kept my attention big-time.

i thought it was one of the best i've seen in a long time.

I took my daughter to see "Over The Hedge" this afternoon.  Fantastic movie.  Plenty of stuff for the kids to enjoy and lots of jokes for the adults too.

Casting was excellent as well.  Bruce Willis was awesome in the lead role and there were a lot of other surprises too that I won't give away.  Let's just say that one particular star got the role of a lifetime tailor made for his hammy ass.

:-D

Can't wait for it to come out on DVD.  It's one of those movies that you can watch over and over to see and hear all the inside jokes that you missed the first time.

5/5  :cfhead

You should probably just hand your balls over to the nearest bartender and be done with it.

You assume he's allowed to go to the bar.

Your sister is currently suckling them.  When she's done, I'll give it some thought.

Your sad attempt at recovering your manhood is made all the more pathetic by the fact that you've already told everyone that you loved "Over the Hedge", gave it 5 out of 5 and plan on buying and repeatedly watching it once its out on DVD.

You lose.

Has anyone seen Hostel yet?  Is it worth renting?
