da vinci is for people who havent read the book...because if you read the book the movie is devoid of any excitement or anticipation as you know exactly what is going to happen..which isnt good when watching a thriller/mystery

Wouldn't that go for about any book turned into a movie??

Not to spoil the ending, because its already been widly published, but the ending of the movie is different than the book.
I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.

Saw King Kong the other night - 2.5/5 mostly for special effects and action. mostly unbelieveable.  the tribal people were awesome.

Finally watched Collateral last night.

I give it a meh.

It started out OK and was OK up until the ending.

Jada Pinkett Smith looked good in it though.

Jada Pinkett is hot as hell.  I'd watch her read the phone book aloud for two farging hours.

PS: Will Smith is a sell-out bitch who doesn't deserve a woman as fine as Jada Pinkett.

Yeah, the ending was lame.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Went and saw MI3 last night.

I'll tell you what... Tom Cruise is definitely the wierdest cat on the planet, but damn... he can make an action movie.  This movie was good as hell.  Of course, it sometimes goes over the top as far as realistic sequences but what movie doesn't these days.

Good action, great acting (especially Lawrence Fishburne and PSH) and highly enjoyable.

I just watched an interesting National Geographic Channel piece on the book.  Probably more interesting than the movie.

Not sure if it's the same one I saw a few months ago or not (there have been several of them popping up on Disc channel, NGC, etc) but the one that I saw was actually a 2 part series.  The one that I saw was basically 4 hours of "experts" trying to convince the viewer that everything Dan Brown wrote about is false.....which was kind of a given when I read the book anyway.  But it still had a bunch of interesting stuff.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I watched Saw and Saw 2 today. Both were decent flicks and had very cool plot twists, but they had too many plot holes for my liking. Some stuff was just too far-fetched for me. But that's horror movies, and they did entertain, so I can't complain.

Waiting... sucked balls

Naturally, a 19-year-old Temple jew that's never worked at a restaurant would think that.

Saw MI:3 last night. It sucked. Hard. Plot holes galore. A cheesy romantic, save the girl, theme throughout, no explanation or payoff on MAJOR pieces of the plot... but lots of exploding and gunplay. 2/5
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?
