Bunkley

Don't defame the name of our newest prized rookie by lumping him in with that piece of garbage.

If JJ says Mccoy can play, I'm going to trust him until proven otherwise.

As if almost on cue.

I was thinking the exact same thing and you were my culprit.

Hmmm....I seem to be a topic of discussion lately. The Art thing hurt though. :'(

And "our Art" is PhillyForever.

I will criticize the team. And people hate my optimism. But thats cool.

I will wait to reserve judgement on McCoy once the season starts, but he obviously needs to improve by leaps and bounds to become a productive player.  It is far too early to write his career off at this point (IGY)...though given the Eagles track record with LBs it is certainly understandable.

I was actually on vacation last week and didn't once access the board.  So, either he's for real, he's someone else's clone, or there are more than one of us who have access to the account to spam with homerism.

Sadly, I think he's for real.

I'm a homer, but not as bad as you make me out to be. I never take it to the point where I'm unrealistic.

As for my comment about trusting JJ, what exactly is homerish about it? You don't trust JJ? He's one of the best d coordinators in the league and has been at it for a long time.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

No, I have no issue with that. I was referring to being the biggest homer on the board. I was called Art the other day and it hurt. Cut me deep. :-[

Would that make you a Phart?  :paranoid

Seriously, I am a homer to the extent that I pull for every member of my team while they're on my team- even TO last season:  to the bitter end, I was hoping against hope that something would click, that the meds would kick in, and he'd settle himself down and become the greatest Eagles receiver in history.  Did I expect it?  No.   But I was hoping.

I wish I could be as positive as you about this season.  I just cannot, looking at what happened last season and the changes that are being made going into next season, be overly optimistic that the Eagles are assuredly going to "bounce back" and dominate like in prior years.  There are just too many question marks in my mind to think 10-6 when they're coming off a 6-10 campaign.

But no matter what, I'll be hoping against hope once September rolls around.

You just did.  Again.

Tomahawk

Apparently I am the biggest homer, and unarguably idiot, on the board. I've already made bets that the Eagles finish the season with a better record than the Dolphins or Bears.
