At least that bitch Wagner blew another save.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

I'm watching the replay on Comcast right now.

I just saw that pitch that Andruw got rung up on. And I agree with Whiz. Those Romes in ATL have been watching Glavine, Smoltz and Maddux get those pitches go their way for years. They can go farg themselves for crying about it.

Good to see another win.

That makes 3-0 since Charlie went off.

Gordon = lights out.

Wagner blew the save for the Mets tonight, btw.

I again will give credit to Flash, I so far have been proven wrong.

i think it was known what Gordon could do if he stayed healthy...it was keeping him healthy that was cause for concern.  but so far so good.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

The last two years he's pitched in 80 and 79 games for the Yankees.  You don't want your closer pitching in more than that anyway.  He also was in 66 in 2003.  The major injury problems were 1999-2002.

I know that age (38) is a factor, but he's been durable in the past several seasons.

not really...typical athlete speak

he did say that altho the on the field numbers dont show it his change-up is not nearly as good as it can be right now and its STILL his best pitch

Gotta offset all this happy talk with some good old negative points:

1) The starting pitching outside of Myers still sucks.
2) The bench is putrid.
3) Manuel is going to kill Gordons arm before July
4) Cole Hamels can pitch 8 perfect games in Scranton and he still won't be called up to the Phils because their organization is retarted

Agreed...i would even say the same about lidle, because he isnt any better or worse than expected. but Leiber, Madson, Floyd are terrible.

2) The bench is putrid.

Also agreed...and this was supposed to be a strength. it's worse, at almost ever single spot on the bench.

3) Manuel is going to kill Gordons arm before July

If Gordon sucks, it's not manuel's fault. he was signed to be a closer. he's supposed to work that much, and if he cannot handle it, that is more on gillick for signing a 38 year old.

4) Cole Hamels can pitch 8 perfect games in Scranton and he still won't be called up to the Phils because their organization is retarted

i wouldnt call him up before june, i would give hamels 4 or 5 more starts at scranton, 3 at the least. if he continues to keep anything close to the pace he is on now, bring him up. however, if floyd and madson don't improve now, you wont have a choice but to bring him up.

you probably just answered your own question, sugarbottom. still waiting for you to write something about the flyers, kinda of funny of how you call losers like jam31 out when the ravens suck and he is nowhere to be found. yet, youre on this board all the time and when the flyers choke (again) you stay away from owning up to your lack of predicition skills. bwahaha.

As it took me for the Eagles, its taking me a few days to get over the Flyers.

You're not a hockey fan, so wtf do you even care?
