If they take Geary out they have Cormier, Franklin and Fultz to use

each of those guys can easily give you two innings...geary got a hit but its still a terrible move to leave him in

wow what a rally right now...which imo proves even more that you take geary out...9/10 times in that situation he gets out and none of this is happening right now

I would've PH for him too. But I can understand the move.

If it is the 6th inning, he's out.

But the 4th inning means you need innings. And you cannot really expect much out of those bums in the bullpen.

And by the way, I fully expect Geoff Geary to give up some runs in the 5th. I hate him. HATE.

wasn't franklin supposed to be the 5th starter anyway? why isn't he in there chewing up some innings instead of raping the pathetic bullpen we already have.

Because since Rhodes isn't able to go tonight - Franklin is the setup guy for Flash.

So realistically he had to go with Rheal zesty or Fultz. Or leave Geary in and get 2+ out of him.

I was wondering the same thing.

Anyways, allowing Geary to hit worked out, so hopefully he can eat up some innings. Howard going yard here would make my night.
