Am I ever glad to talk to you hepcats!

I call myself GoRahGeorge, in honor of one of the greats of Eagle history.

And this person didn't even play or coach.

I was talking on another Eagle fan web site, but I wasn't able to get through today, mostly because when I entered the name of that site on Yahoo, it would give me the link to that site (which shall remain nameless), but when I clicked on that link, it would send me to Google!

And when I clicked on the link to that site at Google, it would keep sending me to that same link at Google!

So I have decided, screw them.  They all deserve each other.

I hope to get along with all of you.

I hope some of you remember the Warriors roller derby team.  I would love to talk of them, if possible.

Here's to all of you, and a big shout-out to the hepsters in the village of Mullica Hill, New Jersey.  I hope to hear from you real soon.

Well, that's it for now.  the 700 level guys are on tonight, and I have got to talk to them of many things of sport.

Until next time...

Erin Go Rah!

I hope you get struck by lightning, and just before death, stumble into a busy highway and get eaten by a giant centipede.

Oh, and welcome. Tard.

hepcats--A performer or devotee of swing and jazz, especially during the 1940s.

Yep, sounds like all of us

I just picked up Art Blakey's "Moanin'."  Fantastic album.  But that's not '40s jazz, it's '58 jazz.  So I'm different from the rest of you hepcats.

Mullica Hill = Clearview High School.

I went to Clearview.

I pray that is where the similarities end.

I couldn't resist using the term hepcats.  I enjoy using it, every chance I get.

That reminds me, I need to take another listen to "A Love Supreme".

As far as Clearview goes, I've never been there, I never attended Clearview, but we gots to give the Pioneers a fighting chance every season.

And the 1974 Warriors were one of the greatest teams ever to call Philly home, one of the best ever to take to the banked track.

Hope to see you hepcats at the game.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

good stuff

some of the all-time greatest bassline and drump loops come from art blakey and the messengers

the most famous being the 'excursions' bassline that begins "the low end theory"...arguably the most well known beginning to any hip-hop album ever made...and comes from blakey's "a chant for bu" off his buhaina record...
