QuoteGeorge Clooney was a driving force in getting Matt Stone and Trey Parker's "South Park" (1997) to air. He also appeared in the show and the subsequent movie. As to their puppet-y portrayal in Team America: World Police, both he and Matt Damon are quoted as saying they would have been offended if they weren't in the film.

Of course hes  pretentious hollywood scum, but at least he can laugh at himself.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Maybe they didn't feel like creating another lawsuit, so they called out their buddy George on the show, instead of making fun of yet another douche that can't take a joke.

Tonight's episode:

QuoteCartman and Kyle are at war over the popular cartoon, "Family Guy." Kyle loves "Family Guy" and hates Cartman. The two boys embark upon a mad chase across the country and the fate of "Family Guy" lies with the first boy to reach Hollywood.

Might be a good one if you're a fan of Family Guy...

The episode will be more original than anything Family Guy has ever done.

Your dislike of Family Guy only proves your lack of mental prowess.

I don't dislike it. I've seen every episode. I just don't find it as funny as a number of other TV shows.

it's not better than the Simpsons in thier heyday, but it's funnier than the Simpsons now, funnier than that farging terrible Futurama could ever hope to be, and funnier than every sitcom on tv right now.

I think we already had this discussion.

Just be glad you don't have to put up with 92% of the people in your area being Southern Baptist, PPatFatt.

I'm still waiting for these guys to rip Jerry Falwell and Ernest Angley.

And, for that matter "Dr. End of the World", as I like to call him, Jack Van Impe.

Ah, well, one good superstition deserves another, I guess.

Erin Go Rah!

Did you see tonights episode?

I think it was funny that the whole episode was about showing muhammed, then they actually didnt show it.
The "retaliation" was great.

MURP

so did Comedy central really pull the shot of Muhammed or was that the plan all along from Parker and Stone?
