If we can head into next season with a WR corps of Moulds, Brown, Gaffney, Lewis, and McMullen/McCants/Jenkins/a rookie I'll be very happy

ESPNews reported the Packers won't trade Walker.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Eagles | Team has not discussed J. Walker trade
Tue, 28 Mar 2006 19:54:26 -0800

Bob Brookover, of the Philadelphia Inquirer, reports the Philadelphia Eagles have not had any conversations with the Green Bay Packers about trading for WR Javon Walker. Walker, who recently said he would retire before playing for the Packers again, is coming back from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee that limited him to just one game last season. The Packers have also said they will not trade Walker.

Eagles | Team has some level of interest in Moulds
Tue, 28 Mar 2006 19:52:35 -0800

Bob Brookover, of the Philadelphia Inquirer, reports the Philadelphia Eagles have some level of interest in Buffalo Bills WR Eric Moulds, but that the wide receiver's representatives initiated the conversations with the team rather than the other way around, according to a league source. Greg Johnson, who represents Moulds along with agent Harry Henderson, said the wide receiver's first choice is Philadelphia. Though the Bills are trying to trade Moulds, it's far more likely that they'll release him before they have to pay a $1 million roster bonus in July.

QuoteEagles: Browns' Faine interested in the Eagles

03/29/2006

By BOB GROTZ

An unexpected door opened when the Eagles struck out in their bid to sign Pro Bowl center LeCharles Bentley, who inked a six-year, $36 million pact with the Cleveland Browns at the outset of free agency. It appears incumbent Browns center Jeff Faine, a first-round pick out of Notre Dame that would be a good fit for the Eagles, is on their radar. Faine also would interest the Green Bay Packers, who are seeking a pivot.

The Browns gave Faine (6-3, 291) permission to seek a trade after signing Bentley, who was coveted by the Eagles, among other teams, and veteran utility man Bob Hallen, who plays center and guard. The Eagles wanted to shore up the interior of the line exposed by the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXIX and exploited by several teams thereafter.

Faine is scheduled to earn $550,000 this season and his contract runs through 2009. The 21st overall pick in the 2003 draft turns just 25 this month, but has an injury history. He missed the last two games in 2005 with an injured right biceps and has been on injured reserve in each of his three NFL campaigns.

Browns head coach Romeo Crennel, however, said Faine answered questions about his size and toughness last year. Faine has started 36 games with the Browns.

The Eagles quietly have opened up the starting center job manned by Hank Fraley to competition with Jamaal Jackson.

Fraley (6-2, 300) finished the 2005 season on injured reserve with a torn rotator cuff suffered in the eighth game. He turns 29 in September and has just one year left on his contract.

Jackson (6-4, 300) started the last eight games in 2005 and turns 26 next season.

The Browns almost certainly would be seeking a first-day draft pick for Faine. The Eagles have three fourth-round picks in the upcoming draft having acquired choices from both the Dallas Cowboys and the Indianapolis Colts in the previous lottery.

The Eagles have 10 total draft picks although the fifth and sixth-rounders they received Monday as compensatory picks for free agency losses aren't tradable.

Faine sucks. I do not want him. If you think Fraley is small and gets bullied by big DTs wait until you see Faine. Leave that big headed sumbitch in the Mistake by the Lake.

Faine interested in the Eagles?  Naturally.

It's one thing when it's on another thread or many pages back.

Completely different when it's about 10 posts earlier on the exact same thread.  That's just lazy.

either way repeat info occurs so often on message boards its really not worthy of commentary
