I am looking forward to seeing what Thomas Tapeh can do. They drafted him to be a single back runner & FB so we'll see whats up. GF will be happy though.

Thomas Tapeh?! The running back who couldn't get ANY playing time as a rookie and who, when he did play, broke his hip like he was my grandmother? Yeah. Lets count on that guy. What the farg?

I liked the idea of him when he was a rookie as well, but to think for one second that he will do anything is laughable.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Just because he didn't play as a rookie doesn't really mean much.

The fact that he Bo Jackson'd himself is a little concerning though. But if he is healthy (and it will be something like 18 months from injury to training camp 2006) then I think he could be good.

And let's be real here. Anyone not named Josh Parry is an upgrade.

I'd kill to have a stud FB, but it isn't going to happen. So I just focus on seeing Parry cut and Tapeh doing what they drafted him to do.

Not to be repetitive. Lord knows I hate that. But noogies, dude. Noogies.

I have a hunch that after the Eagles are awarded (a) compensatory pick(s), they might then have RFA Hunter Hillenmeyer in for a visit.  He would cost the team a 5th round pick, but he is a young guy who can completely shut down the TE.

It makes sense that they'd wait until the compensatory selections are announced, because they wouldn't want to be without all selections in the 5th and 6th rounds (they already don't have their 6th round pick, if you forgot).

The BIGSTUD

Walker is the guy I want, but it just seemed way too good to be true from the get go, so I never really got excited about the possibility.

I still won' get excited about it, but if we could get him I give this offseason an automatic A.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

That would be nice. I would love to add Hillenmeyer. Like I said before, him playing for Ron Rivera has to count for something with him being a branch of the Johnson coaching tree and all.

Then they could send Bowtie packing and that would allow them to not HAVE to draft a LB early or even at all. They can go BPA, which is the best thing to do.

The BIGSTUD

If they get Moulds/Walker or Hillenmeyer/Arrington, then that's 2 positions they don't need to draft. They can just load up on d-line and o-line.

Yep, except for the DT position... which they pretty much have to get on day 1.

PhillyPhreak54

As much as I would love to add Walker or Moulds, I wouldn't expect it to happen. My money would be on them maybe adding a SAM and then being done with FA. They've been looking at a lot of college WRs. And I think they have a man-crush on Maurice Stovall. Which would be a good pick (in rd 2), IMO.

Most likely sceanrio:

DT, LB, WR added in the draft

50/50 chance of happening:

Signing Hillenmeyer, drafting a DT and WR

Dream scenario:

Acquire Moulds or Walker, sign Hillenmeyer, draft a DT.
