No one expects them to take White.  Maybe we should break into NovaCare on draft day and when the Eagles are called, storm into the war room, put a gun to Reid & Eckerts' heads and force them to take him.

I just can't see it happening. If Andy takes a RB in the first round my heart will stop.

Would I like White? Hell yeah.

I wanted Stephen Jackson the year Andrews was drafted. I thought it was a lock we were drafting him when we traded up.

But I would prefer Bunkley. I think they can get a good solid big back later in the draft.

I think the Eagles can address the RB need later in the draft, since the RB is one of those positions that can step in immediately and contribute in their rookie season.

Don't you already have to be established in the league to get that honor?  Most people couldn't tell you who Buckhalter is.

I hope the Eagles don't waste any time in releasing him, because I don't want to Eagles to go through the draft and not pick up an RB and then say they are content with Buckhalter coming back and being the 'change of pace'. 

It will never happen, but hey, stranger things have occurred.

He spoke to Kevin Poston today and he said that the Eagles have asked about Julian Peterson and Lavar Arrington but haven't discussed anything moneywise.

Sal Pal confirmed that the Eagles hate Dhani Jones at SAM and said even Trotter told him awhile back they need a new SAM.

I've been thinking more and more about the Eagles and the SAM position. I think they really do want to get rid of Dhani, but they honestly believe Arrington is overrated, and Peterson isn't much better than Dhani at this point in his career. I have a feeling they are right about Peterson. He'll probably go stink it up wherever he signs, but I still think Arrington would be a good fit.

However, I do think they really want a new SAM, I just can't think of how they are going to address it. Which leads me to think maybe the Eagles plan to trade back into the first round and have 2 first round picks this year. Maybe Rod Hood and a 2nd or 3rd for another first round pick. Then they will address both SAM and DT in the first round, and WR in with the next pick.

I just think a lot of us fans want the SAM position to be dealt with NOW, because we are so used to them not caring about the LB position and we want to be assured that they will care about it this year. So the longer we don't get one the more we worry. I honestly will be shocked if Dhani is our starting SAM next season.
