That means nothing, as you've said yourself.  They never tip their hand.  That being said, he'll only come to Philly AFTER a trade has been concluded, to get a physical.  He'll never be here to "meet with Eagles brass".
Anyone but Reid.

I have it on good authority that Javon Walker IS at the NovaCare facility this morning.

is your source Mark Eckel?  :-D

they said they had no interest and were not going to get him

of course take it for what its worth...i find it curious that they would go out of their way to deny this specific rumor...as opposed to all the other rumors that are always popping up

eagles just called wip to say that they have no interest in walker...hes not coming to town and never was

They really said they have NO interest?  Who was it that called?

Mike Miss said a special call came in from the Eagles office to clarify (cough, cough...bull$htein). Plus, the Pack would have to give Walker permission to do so. He cant just fly in and have cheesesteaks with Lurie and talk dollars...come on now

Perhaps because Walker is still under contract with another team?

Eh, pretty much meaningless then.  Could be true, could be very false.

ice grillin you

its absolutely true that they called...whether them having no interest is true who knows

Right.  AFTER trade parameters with the Packers and tentative contract plans with Walker were complete, he would then come to Philadelphia for a physical before any of it was final.

this is absolutely not true....ive been listening all morning and havent heard it mentioned a single time...i could have missed it but its certainly not the buzz of wip right now

They mentioned it briefly about an hour ago, relaying some rumor about a limo driver calling to say he was hired to drive Walker from the airport.

I was going to mention it but didn't feel like getting :rolly-eyed: or :loled:

i'm resigning myself to the fact that Brown, Pinkston, and Lewis will be the stating WR next year.  that way, anything else will be a pleasant surprise.  unless that anything else is McMullen instead of Lewis.
