"At this point, it's a trio of Reggie Brown, Todd Pinkston, and Greg Lewis."

Once again Dave didn't dismiss replacing Dhani...

I sure hope they have something in mind.

in a good way...hes one of thsoe easy to please eagle fans

plus i cant imagine someone getting that upset over brenston buckner

It wont be a good way if the guy is brought in, takes a rotation spot, plays 3 games and is hurt the rest of the year with the "infamous" tricep tear or pulled hammy. Eagles fans will flatten his tires then.

Keep Hollis that fat meatball.......

Right, because Hollis never has any injury problems.

My point exactly, its a wash...hes younger, could get lucky, so keep hoagie boy.

On Runyan:

"It appears that him coming back is looking more and more likely. He reportedly met with the Eagles yesterday before going on vacation"

And we pray.

Buckner would be an awful signing, I'd rather just keep Hollis if it meant bringing his slow, old as in here. Unless I missed it Bernard's still out there, he's a perfect fit for this defense and fills an immediate need. Why isn't he an option again?

I'd prefer a content Bucknor than an unhappy Hollis.

Rome

Excuse me but wtf does Hollis Thomas have to be unhappy about?

He's lasted in the league for 10 years and has been employed by a team that could have easily cut his fat ass a dozen times over the years due to injury (lingering or otherwise) or just plain lack of production.

Look, I like Hollis and I think he's a positive influence in the locker room but the bottom line is if someone better is available then Hollis has to go.  If he catches on with another team, that's great, but it's not as if the Eagles would be losing an indispensible part of the team if he left.  He's nothing more than a role player at this point, so if he's pissed off about the Eagles not paying him like a starter, then that's too fricken bad.

Maybe the Eagles will trade T.O. for a 5th and then make an offer to RFA Hunter Hillenmeyer.  Holla!

Titans signed WR David Givens to a five-year, $24 million contract, with an $8 million signing bonus.

Seeing this only makes me believe more now that the Eagles front office is slicker than we think. These 2 guys--El and Givens are no way worth the cash they got! The teams that signed them are desperate for wins and some kind of talent to throw to.
Randel El is a complimentary reciever at best and Givens is the same with a little more upside. Both went the season last years scoreless in many many occasions with no balls caught and the QB throwing his ass off. Whats that tell ya, they cant get open enought o warrant cash like this garbage. Good Job Birds....

I know we are severely anxious for a birth, but patience will bring us some glory.

ice grillin you

what are you talking about.....pittsburgh throws less than the eagles run

and who are you to say they are overpaid...if either came to the eagles it would drastically improve their wr's...thats all you should be worried about

Jeff Lurie Comments

an interesting portion:

Quote"I think you look around the league and you find that the teams that make the right evaluations and make the smart decisions, whether it be the Patriots, Steelers or us, it's a much smarter way to go."

one of these things is not like the other....
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

MURP

yeah the Eagles havnt won a Superbowl and Lurie shouldnt lump the Eagles in with teams that have... Nobody has to agree with him, but we all know what he means even if it is said poorly.
