i think moats and or westbrook could be used for PR duty...both seem explosive enough.


is there any truth to this rumor i heard from this other eagles fan that he heard espn radio talking about eagles trying to acquire jevon walker from the packers and how walker has said he doesnt wanna play in gb no more? any truth to this?


i ask cause if they have signed finneran there is absolutely no chance in my mind of that deal working out cause i think the eagles believe they are set offensively in banking on brown being a #1, pinkston recovering anough to stretch the field, finneran being a possesion WR, and lj smith and westbrook being heavily used in the passing game. they might stick it out with moats and westbrook at RB since moats showed some great promise.

if the above is true and they wont be upgrading the offense i seriously hope they address the D...particularly the LB corps (no barber isnt enough esp since he isnt proven)....julian peterson is still out there, and they need depth at the D line and of course the O LINE.

[Optimism] I like Finneran's height...ehh.

This isn't what I had in mind for a WR. I get the impression that even if Moulds is released that the Eagles won't pursue him.

Nope.

Billy V was the only person to talk about it. NBC10 didn't have it on SF either. And I've read the ATL and PHL papers today and nothing.

at first I thought wtf?   Now Im thinking if it means the end of Billy McMullen as an Eagle, id gladly give Finnaren a deal.

What? Why? Because Glew IS NOT A #1 WR and was pushed into that role last year?  ???

The guy thrived as a #3, dont' shove him out because he didn't play well as the #1 in place of TO.

I like Lewis a lot, but McMullen took steps forward last season, and Greg took steps back.

It would be a tough call which more deserved a roster spot.  Would depend on the other guy(s) added.
