FF = Barber Lover

FF = realist

Eagles like McCoy and signed Barber.  Simoneau is still on the roster, and Dhani is better suited to WIL.

We have a minimum of 4 WIL's on this team already.

Feva

Nah, I know.  I agree with you with the 63 WIL's we have on the roster thing.

I was just making the same point to a friend of mine at work today.

Give me Darren Howard and Rocky Bernard. Draft Vernon Davis if he's there, if not try to get up for Ngata, if not draft Broderick Bunkley.

You have a defensive line of Kearse, Ngata/Bunkley, Bernard - Patterson and Rayburn for rotation, Howard/Cole.

Then trade for a receiver or sign Givens or someone and we have most of the needs taken care of right there except for RB, SAM and FB. It sounds like a lot, but it's not necessarily unrealistic. The Eagles have the money. The hard part is luring the free agents over, not the spending.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.

Updated top 50 FA's.

Guess who now tops the list.  8)

Sam Adam's is pretty surprised to make 24 on that list.

Either that, or he just Mawae's eyebrows for this first time.

you'd rather sign 2 DTs and a DE over instead of one DT and Will Witherspoon?

Yes.  Bye Hollis.  Bye Walker or Rayburn.  No more WIL's.  Need SAM, and don't see one on that list.

No, bye to Walker or Rayburn. No need to cut one of them.

No.  Get Pickett and Tripplett, AND possibly a draft pick.

PhillyPhreak54

I like Tripplett or Pickett and Bunkley.

My plan is better.

any update on the official start of free agency?  an article on RedZone and all of WIP's updates say 12:01 Friday morning.  while Schefter and Mort have been saying 12:01 Saturday.

12:01 Friday night: aka extreme Saturday morning.

Anyone hear yet when teams need to be in cap compliance?

nfl.com

QuoteFree agency, put off twice by the protracted negotiations between the owners and players, now will start at 12:01 a.m. March 10.

thats about 2.5 hours from now

That is the only place that says Friday. And Schefter, an NFL.com/NFL Network shill says 0001 on Saturday.
It'd be cool if it started tonight though

NGM

Maybe if the farging NFL would just make the start time say 6 AM or PM or any other time besides 12:01 AM it would be much more clear.

PP54, why would you want Tripplett instead of Bernard? I was never a big fan of Tripplett.

Bernard = big $$$.

I wouldn't mind him. But he's going to cost a lot.

And is he worth stud money?

Munson

Everything I've heard was 12:01 Friday. Unless they changed it sometime late last night or today.

you do realize 1201 friday is in 18 minutes?

Yes.

Everything I remember is it getting pushed back from Monday until Thursday at 12:01, but then it getting pushed back one more day to Friday at 12:01 AM.

If it was pushed back again, I didn't read/hear about it.
