I like how McNabb is on the downside of his career and we'll be in cap hell in a few years...  :-D

If you want to use me as a source, I will tell you this:

The Eagles are going to make a large, aggressive offer at Bentley on the opening day of free agency.  There is about a 40% chance he will take it immediately, and there is about a 60% chance he will shop his bad ass around some more.  If he shops around some more, there is about an 85% chance he signs elsewhere and a 15% chance he comes back to the Eagles' offer...

So, the odds are about 50/50 of landing LeCharles Bentley.  You're welcome.

QuoteIts ok. We robbed them of Mayberry. Maybe this year we can jack one of their promising young wide receivers who was stuck behind T.O. on the depth chart

bring beach gear, i hear its pretty wet down there.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Adam Schefter was on Total Access tonight and confirmed that Bentley was the Birds main target for the offensive line, but he said the indications were that the Birds second big target, was another Saint, Darren Howard. Thoughts?

Darren Howard could be done. He didn't have a great year last year. If he can repeat anything he did in his previous seasons I'd take him in a second.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.

Given everything that happened this past season, I really wouldn't pass to much judgement on Howard. He was pissed about the tag, and then no talks about a new contract, then everything else happened. Here he would be in a rotation, and should be able to stay fresh all season.

Kearse, Howard, Cole, Dougs, and maybe a draft pick. Imagine too if Dougs actually stays healthy and earns his keep. If they get Howard, and Bentley it would be a pretty kick ass offseason IMO, and they could use their picks to shore up some other spots. (Gradkowski at backup QB please).

Kearse, Patterson, Bunkley(first round pick), Howard/Coles

One hell of a d-line there my friends. If we don't sign a DT, then I'd rather take Bunkley than Vernon Davis if both are there at 14.

Anyone here rather still go Davis?

I'd take Davis in a second if he was there at 14. Davis is a surefire stud for the next ten plus years. Bank on it.
