Hes not going to get to the QB alot...maybe ever.  Hes going to provide a non stop motor, play the run well, collapse the pocket for the DT, and can spell Kearse so he can do other things in the D.

6 1/2 sacks and 105 tackles last year. So, HE DID get to the QB some.

Agreed, he's still relatively young and is on the incline too. I'd be happy with him at RDE.

eh the birds have enough tweeners on the defensive line...and plenty enough 'non-stop motors'...i want an athletic playmaker...not another hard working lunch pail nd kalu darwin walker type

Kampman's not really a tweener, he's a solid DE. There's no comparison, he's an upgrade over Kalu or anything else they can throw out there. He'd work well in a rotation, with Cole spelling him on passing downs.

exactly my point...they dont need another rotation guy who will go out every play with his high motor....they need a guy who can come in and start...who will or at least have the potential to make plays and dominate....

people complain that randel el will want to much money...but are gonna pay kampman way bigger bucks than he deserves...hes like 6-4 270 and slow...i dont care what he did last year...the guy is not an every down player but will be paid like one....

Didn't someone say that he played 91% of defensive snaps last season? Doesn't sound like a 'rotation guy' to me. He WOULD rotate in Philly, but if you don't want the DEs to rotate, you'd better start praying for JJ to retire.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

If the defense looks anything like it did last year, it may be time for him to hang'em up.

He's a DE. 270 would be a friggin 20 lb upgrade at DE for this team.

Yeah, but a white DE may be a little too close to a white LB for IGY's taste.

i dont want a slow plodding DE who wants big money...they need playmakers...if he was dirt cheap and you were just getting him to replace kalu as a body then fine...but i saw somewhere he wants kyle vandenbosch money....no thanks
