i wouldn't doubt it if many of them played for free, just because they believe in the system.

It's true, all of the experts are wrong, but these random skins fans are right.  they're going to have to cut like 5 players who would have been cut anyway, and thats it.

Don't forget that according to the know-it-all Skins fans that there will be a line of players at Snyder's door just waiting to have thier contracts restructured to help out good ol' Coach Joe.

Yeah, well Gibbs was on the NFL channel Friday and didn't sound too optimistic  :-D They're (Kirwan, Cross) saying that a deal is in place and to just be patient. Agreed cap # is around $95million.

MadMarchHare

Well....from PFT they are saying IF a CBA is agreed upon, it will be based on a larger piece of the revenue pie, and Florio expects the cap will increase 10-12 MM.
Anyone but Reid.

PhillyPhreak54

Yeah, I read that too, Florio is reporting that the Crop Sheets that the NFL ususally releases have been delayed. Those are the financial reports that the league issues. And if the CBA is extended then the cap would be above $95M.

Sean Taylor will be the first in line.  He's all class all the time.

The only line that pos will be in, is the one at the prison infirmary to stitch up his anal tears.

PhillyPhreak54

Will he spit on the Dr. when they stick the needle in his browneye to numb him up?

rjs246

So the cap might be raised by that much this year to get the CBA done? Seems kind of ridiculous.

Here's the 104 mil number.  Who knows where he got it from.
QuoteThe cap is currently scheduled to be between $92 and $95 million. An extension of the agreement could vault the cap to $104 million.

rjs246

So that would put the Eagles at about 30 bazillion dollars under the cap while the Skins would still be over it by roughly 11 Mil. Funny.

I'd give them a 4th for Ramsey.

Just kidding.

rjs246

Well we have about 7 of them, I'd give them a fourth to get Ramsey and turn around and trade him to the Dolphins for a 3rd. Zing!

Former first round QB being shopped for less than a third round pick in a trade.

What a joke of a franchise.

You just don't understand, infidel. It is obvious that a third round pick >>>>> a first round pick. Logic then dictates that if a first is poop, a second is more poopier. By the same UBERGIBBS logic, the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh round is where you find core guys, guys who bend over and take it for the team Gibbs style.

but at the end of the year the eagles will remain 10 bazillion dollars under the cap while the skins just get under by 100,000

Well if there is no CBA the taterskins are farged.   i think that is obvious but then in 2007 there will be no cap so football in general will be farged.  Looks like the skins and the cowboys will be in a good position in 2007 then...

Read the whole post, or at least the last few pages. Or go visit an actual website with factual knowledge about the CBA and it's effects on the '07 season. It won't be a "spend it if ya got it" type of season, no going out and gettng tons of free agents with a blank checkbook.

Spewing bullshtein might work on your favorite Foreskins board, but if you don't know what you are talking about here, you'll get called on it. Go away.
