I just now checked 'em out. The AKGs are definitely not as efficient, and while I could get a decent volume out of them, I can't say that they are really LOUD, even with everything turned up to the max. I even plugged 'em into my laptop, and the sound isn't as loud as it should be.

Ok, well I got everything from my old computer to my new one. It wasn't nearly as difficult as I thought it'd be. Looks like I get to keep all my cool new toys now.
