Knowing what we know now about last season, if you were Banner/Lurie would you have:

Paid TO the money
Traded Donovan
Cut TO loose last March

Any of the above?
All the above?
None of the above?

Looking at it dispassionately, I would have paid TO, and traded Donovan.

Okay, calm the farg down. Here is my thought process.

TO made Garcia a Probowl QB. That is indisputable. Garcia is a below average journeyman now. Donovan had by far his best season with TO at WR. I believe now that a truly great WR makes a QB. Look at Warner since he is away from Bruce. Look at Donovan without TO. Look at Garcia. Look at McCown in AZ. I think this point is valid. Do any of you think Delhomme is a great QB? What about the group in Chicago with Mushin Mohammed? Leaves alot to ponder, no?

I can honestly say that I doubt any coach/owner/personnel guy in the NFL would have even momentarily pondered that scenario.

Anyone else think Jon Favreau could be the answer at DT with his newfound girth? Worth a shot, I say.
