in finally saw Lock, Stock, and 2 Smoking Barrells, i really liked it.  although, i liked Snatch and Layer Cake better.

Airplane was on cable a lot this weekend, so i watched the entire thing over a couple of days.  that is a movie where stupid humor just continues to make me laugh.  one thing though, that movie is rated PG, although there is curse words and nudity, how's that work?

well today airplane would clearly be pg-13...but that didnt exist in 1980

also comedies can get away with more than other types of movies

I didn't watch anything new over the weekend that wasn't a little bit of a disappointment.

"Waiting" - I was hoping for a bit more, but it was alright.  Probably more amusing for those of us that have worked at a restaurant at one point in time.

"Just Like Heaven" - Meh.  Cute romantic comedy/chick flick.  You could do a lot worse if you're trying to soften up the lady, I guess.

"Transporter 2" - Took the somewhat-hard-to-believe parts of the first one and went into the realm of the completely and utterly ridiculous.  I really enjoyed the first one, and the only reason to like the 2nd one is Amber Valletta... who doesn't even get close to naked.  Meh.

"Run Lola Run" - Kind of like a simpler version of "Donnie Darko".  Not bad.  Probably the best of the movies I watched this weekend, for what it's worth.

"Flightplan" - Well, it didn't completely suck.  But it's certainly not worth the long wait it had on Netflix.

Weather was crappy.  A lot of alcohol was consumed.  Wives were present.

Parking in front of the TV and catching up on some movies seemed to be a good idea.

I thought the only people who could be more entertained by W&G than Corpse Bride were small children.

i like Wallace and Grommit, but i haven't seen the movie yet.  i won't watch Corpse Bride because I think Tim Burton is a douche.

Wallace and Gromit was great. Funny as all hell.  The animations are something to appreciate.  I'm not an animator, but i went to school with them, I can appreciate it and the hard work. 
Corpse Bride, wasn't as good as W&G, but again the animations were tight and i like tim burton's movies.  i appreciate his weirdness.
