lol...so, you're comparing the late round OL selections to a potential top 15 pick?

Beat me to it.  :-D

they've taken a bunch of offensive line, but outside of Andrews, what's the highest they've taken one?  a lot of those guys are role/backup guys.  if they were ok with tackles, i wouldn't want to take OL in the 1st round because of what you said. but, they have a chance to get a stud tackle, they need to take one.

While I think the offensive line is almost as bad as the defensive line and therefore disagree with IGY, I would like to give props for using 'abomination.'  Well done.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

ice grillin you

no im saying where are all the lineman they picked and signed over the last two three years...i dont care where along the way they got them...if they didnt think they could play then they shouldnt have wasted seven picks in the same area while the defense has shriveled away into nothing...trent cole stepped up and played well and he wasnt exactly a high pick...why cant one or two of these lineman have done the same

they have more pressing needs than taking another one...if they are that concerned with the tackles then buck up and sign runyan

only the very special rookie tackles step right in and play at a high level anyway...and justice is not one of those...they dont need a player in round one who is going to need a year or two of seasoning...they need an impact player and a defender gives you a much better chance of doing that at 14
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

I dont want Justice, but I suppose the thinking would be along the lines of my offensive line thread.. If Runyan and Tra are done and if they want to keep Andrews at G there is an opening at RT.

ice grillin you

i cant believe theres people...not you... advocating that todd herremans and winston justice be the philadelphia eagles starting tackles next season

Drafting another offensive lineman in the first round?

Yay!

:P

I know! Its not like we need desperate help on the oline or anything.  ::)

Desperate?

:-D

Did PG just make a funny?

Well, she tried.  For her, that's remarkable in and of itself.

SunMo

i'm not advocating 2 young players at each tackle spot, that would be bad.  if they cut Tra, they need to sign Runyan, if they let Runyan go, they need to keep Tra.  then my man Winston can play the other spot.  holla!

btw...i don't have some obsession with him, it's only my prediction that i made in the middle of January

As for me, Justice wouldn't be my first pick for that spot...but if they went that route, it certainly wouldn't be a headscratcher.

PhillyGirl

No, the line doesn't need desperate help.

Its just fine the way it is. I sure enjoyed seeing McNabb have about .2 seconds to get rid of the ball this past season.  :yay
