i'm pretty sure he's not an alumnus, but he will be in 5 years.  correct?

"A lot of people go to college for 7 years."
"Yeah... they're called 'doctors'."

Doctors and Penn Staters. I'm one of the few people I know that got out of State College in four years with a degree... I know a few that were there for 5+ years and left with no degree.

It's a brilliant plan for the university. Require more credits to graduate so that the result of any slip-up or change of plan by a student practically guarantees an extra semester if not an extra year. When I was there only 37% of the student body was graduating in 4 years. That extra tuition adds up quickly.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Rome

Christ. Seven years of college down the drain. Might as well join the farging Peace Corps.

:-D

i could have finished in 4 but stayed up an extra year to take a ballroom dancing class and one business class to get a minor.  and drink excessively for one more year.  same plan as matt leinert basically, except for the football and riches to come.

It sounds like you and I know a lot of the same people.

I got out in 3 years with AP credits but no summer sessions or distance learning.  That 23-credit semester when I took the entire business junior core at once was a little bit of a hassle, though.

My moms graduated from PSU in under three years. I'll tell you what I tell her.

You're farging crazy.

If I could have stayed an extra year I would have in a heartbeat, but out of state tuition is a motherfarger. Why leave the drunkiest place on earth any earlier than necessary? Three years of college. Preposterous!

You'll have to trust me when I say I managed to get 4-5 years of drinking and general bad decisions in to 3 years.

Does ALE start next year?  Any other current commits have a chance to play as true freshmen?

I didn't drink that much in college.  The profs didn't take kindly to us bringing kegs into class.

It sounds like ALE might be a a little unpolished but who cares? The OLine needs talent so anything's possible.

After a little research, it would appear Logan-El one of the least likely to avoid the redshirt.  We'll see, though.  Walton and Taylor may both play next year.

phattymatty

At least JoePa finally realized that he's allowed to play freshmen in real games.

Wallace may see time as a nickel back and possibly on offense a la Justin King.

ice grillin you
