Reggie Brown
Trent Cole
Mike Patterson

Ryan Moats got an honorable mention.

If these 4 guys continue to build on this year then the 2005 draft will turn out to be a pretty good pull for Heckert and Reid.

Yeah if these guys continue to perform even after the rest of the league has tape on them to study you know they are good and as you said it will reflect really well on the Eagle brass as tallent evaluators.

They have had some dogs but I can only remember three out and out busts in this era.

Caver, Mitchell, although that is debatable, and McDougle who could still come back and be productive.

By bust I mean first or second round pick that either added nothing or underperformed relative to the hype they recieved comming out.

You just described Freddie Mitchell.  I don't know too many 1st round WR's that are drafted to be a #3 and then, even fail to make an impact there.  Therefore... it's not really debateable.  ;)

Yeah I see how he stunk.  But he had his moments and hung around for three four seasons.  Then again that may have been more a function of ARandCo. not wanting to admit another bad pick.
