We were going to go out for a few beers and some grub last night, but the places we frequent on Wednesdays were packed with toolboxes wanting to watch the Duke/NCSU game.  So, the wife and I got some take-out Japanese, picked up an 18-pack of Bud Select cans, and watched "Cinderella Man".

Beer and a boxing movie = excellent combo

You know, gram for gram, alcohol has way more calories than carbohydrates.  You'd be better off with the beer.
But dude - there are zero carbs!  Yeah, you've got to burn more calories, but your fat-burning metabolism is using 20-50% more calories / day!

(Of course the carb-hound in me says mmmmm....Guinness - one of the lowest calorie non-lite beers available)
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.
