QB Eagles

Herm Edwards is officially out of New York. Negotiations with the Chiefs continue.

I think the ovbious question here is did any non-nfc-east non-playoff coaches actually keep their job this offseason?

The Herm Edwards thing is a mess for the Jets.  They got fleeced.  They handled this thing in the worst possible way, and will only get a fourth for him.  It was a masterful job on the part of the Chiefs to create enough of a shtein storm to force the issue...but I can't believe there isn't more talk of tampering.

Good. Maybe Favre will retire now.

QB Eagles

The Eagles are in trouble when they face the Packers next year. No doubt McCarthy will bring that potent SF offensive scheme over with him.

Not to mention that gunslinger Aaron Rogers with a full year of playing time under his belt.

That's a whole lot of stats for a guy who was sitting on the bench behind Brett Favre all year, don't cha think?  ;)

That's what happens when you hire a coach that no one had ever heard of. Remember when Reid was hired? No one had any farging clue who he was. People don't know shtein.

Wingspan

that also happens when the coach hired just led an offense that scored 1 TD or less in 7 of 16 games this season

The Packers were still decent then and he had a great mentor, did you see the Niners offense last season?

rjs246

No. I wasn't aware the Niners had an offense last season.
