I think Pozluszny was leaning towards staying, and if this injury is at all significant, he will most definitely stay.

Please tell me that #91 is a senior and the birds can get him!  What a motor.  Guy was bustin' his ass all night.

Tamba Hali is a senior, and he will probably be available at #14...  HOWEVER, he is still extremely undersized (less than 240), and I really want no parts of him as a 1st rounder.

thing is tho if poz blew out his knee then he wont be ready for the start of next season and most likely wont be anywhere near 100% for all of next year...if he plays at all

Steve Slaton (Conwell-Egan) stars on Monday night....

My cousin played in the same backfield with him in the AS game.

I thought FSU handled him pretty well. They were hitting him low early, then when he adjusted he kept going wide to get pressure.

hali will not be a good pro

I tend to agree, I wouldn't take him at 14 but if our pick was in the 20-30 range I might consider. (Like PSU RBs with the exception being LJ) PSU DEs haven't worked out so well in the pro's (Brown, Haynes)

I was a little shocked at how the offense couldn't adjust to FSU's defensive adjustments in the 2nd half. Scott was a man on fire in the first half and when the Noles started blitzing the Nits didn't try to stretch them out with the run. And when they tried to exploit the man coverage Robinson was getting smoked.

It was so obvious when FSU was going to bring a LB, and 75% of the time they came in untouched. Not establishing an effective 1-2 punch with Scott and Robinson really hurt them.

yup.  What's the latest with him, anyway?

IGY - Yes, Kelly choked twice.  But he kicked the game-winning FG and got the interviews after the game.  Close enough...

i was just about to say that.  Robinson's speed dominated the Big Ten this year, but that was neutralized and he was forced to make his mark on the game with passing, obviously not his strong suit.

There were a few things that I saw from the game.

#1. PSU offense did not adjust well to the pressure FSU brought, maybe it was due to the entire starting backfield being out, who knows.

#2 Defense was out of it's mind. the 3rd qtr stands were amazing. The filed position the offense put them in was insane, and the defense for the most part pushed them back.

#3 Most of the holding calls were against the lineman covering Tamba, i think he caused a lot of problems for FSU getting upfield quickly.

#4 The clock management at the end of the 1st half by PSU was sweet, great job by the staff being aware of their situation.

#5 Mike Tirico (sp?) was brutal. Everytime FSU did anything it he was jumping out of his seat. He must have made reference to the suspended FSU player about 10 times more then PSU's backfield injuries. He was just annoying, the other guy  (can't remember his name) was far more balanced.

#6 I am so freaking tired of that Damn FSU indian chant thing, holy annoying. Everytime anything happened, even PSU first downs they played that crap.

#7 I did gain some , some respect for Bobby, everytime they had a sideline view after a penalty, or a miscue for FSU, he was finding out who did it, and calmly discussing it with staff, not jumping up and down like a moron.

#8 great, suspensful game too close for my taste, but it was a great game.

BCCC for a year then onto West Chester (I might be up there with him). We'll see.

Speed?  Maybe.  Overall football skills/teams?  Not so much.

You can't read much into one game.  FSU played extremely well, and PSU was missing an extremely important all-around player in Tony Hunt.  Plus, Austin Scott was cutting through their D until he got greedy and started spinning/cutting/bouncing more than just hitting the hole.

Herbstreit is to PSU as Aikman is to the Eagles.  He's an OSU guy, but is usually extremely fair to PSU.

And a big ass F YOU goes out to EZ for fumbling that snap at the 4. I'm on the way to cover city and then that happend. I couldn't f'ing believe it!

I'm right with you.  I quit betting on college games about 2 months ago because i obviously don't know what i'm doing and am a horrible gambler, but decided at the last minute to throw down on the game.

I couldn't agree more.  Holy hell, that was aggravating.  I had to turn the volume down because it was driving me nuts.  I didn't watch until the end of the game, but the last half hour or so that I did watch, the television was muted.

Yep, thats the reason Hunt passed him in the first place.  The thing with Scott is that he runs too much side to side insteda of straight ahead, which he was doing in the first half before reverting back to his old style.

who else laughed every time De'Cody Fagg was involved in a play?

Why doesn't Robinson ever keep on that delay play?

If a 79 year old coach and a bunch of college kids can pull off a 2 minute drill, why can't the Eagles?

That was the really bizarre part - they even played it when something bad happened for FSU.  Every farging play.

I also think it had something to do with his "ole" style pass blocking.
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.
