Christ, you're out in the sticks. It probably WAS the DTC. I think a coupld of them live down 66 in Burke. Buy a shotgun and a lot of No-Doze. You'll catch those fargers.

I thought about the DTC, but figured it couldn't be them for a coupe of reasons:

1. I didn't find any Natty Ice bottles laying around.

2. There was a Skins players "meet and greet" at some sports bar downtown in D.C last night until about 2:00AM, and the metro stops running around 11:00 during the week. Christ knows those gimps don't own any kind of vehicle(s).

3. I live too far from Joe Gibbs' old, flacid cock. They'd never stray so far away from it, for fear of losing their place in line.

I need to figure out how to find the iceholes that did this. The cops told me I really didn't have much of a chance, but that doesn't preclude me from trying anyway. Short of sitting in a tree all night with some binoculars, anyone have any ideas on the best way to figure out who would have done this?  >:( >:( >:(

Ha.  I'm sure the Fairfax police have a whole regiment on duty searching for these tire slashers.  They'll find em for you.  And then when they let you know who did it, you can ask them for your $40 dollars.  And then once they don't give it to you, you can just forget the whole thing ever happened.

Well, I've got news for you dipshtein. The cops caught one of the kids today, who in turn ratted on the other three (ages 14-15). There were a total of four, and according to the cops, they all live in a community about a half mile away from my complex. According to the detective I spoke with, they went to the school the kid attends to ask him some questions about another incident not too far from where I live, something about spray-painting a wall at the school, and before they asked him anything, he started to say how the whole thing wasn't his idea, he didn't cut the tires, yada yada. The police have all four kids at the station, which I just came from, I spoke to the parents, and said I not would press charges, but am expecting the kids to pay for the damages, etc. They were still waiting on my neighbor to get there (the BMW) when I left, he already told me he is going to seek some type of repayment for the damages, and press charges.

i hope they get the death penalty.

I think you should press charges.  Simply paying for the damage isn't enough.  Besides, if the kids aren't truly criminals, then they won't get into any more trouble and the charges will be wiped when they become adults.

On the other hand, if they are criminal fargs, then they'll have this incident on their record, as well as all the others they acquire, making it easier for the authorities to see that they've got some bad eggs on their hands.

throw the book at the little bastiches.

oh, and sue the pants off of them for the amount of stress this has caused you and the fear you now live in that someday your tires may be slashed again.  string the little fargers up!

Pressing charges just might be the thing that straightens their little asses out. Just hope that they aren't part of some retaliatory network that's going to throw molotov cocktails at your home.

I was going to press charges, but after the first person did, the detective told me that I really didn't need to press any charges, because the evidence from all the cars that were damaged would be brought before the judge anyway, and because of their age, all of us pressing charges would only serve to make for more paperwork and not add on any additional punishment. Knowing who the little fargers are, having them pay for the tires, and will wind up having something on their juvenile record is good enough for me.

If someone else is pressing charges, and that party actually sees the charges through to the point of hauling those kids into court and getting something onto their juvenile record, then I can understand why you would choose not to press charges yourself.  Me, I'd press charges myself in addition, just to make sure the case doesn't get lost, tossed out, or fail to affect the kids because the other plaintiff doesn't follow through.

Anyway, good news, and good luck!

Kids don't know how to shut up nowadays. I guess the system not teaching law in elementary school has its benefits.  :yay

I'm happy for you...but its just weird. If I was one of the kids...I'd stay the farg shut up. You can tell these are little shteins who probably aren't criminal and maybe this shtein on their record will scare them back where they need to be. On this side of stupid.

at which point does one come to a decision on which authority is to be respected, and which does not? maybe they plan on leaving the country where tire slashers can run free all day and knife some rubber until the sun goes down, to look foreward to doing it all again tomorrow.

I think you should wait for them outside of their school and when they leave to get on the bus jump them and give them all atomic wedgies.

They're already on the same side of stupid as you.
