Weather Tonight...1989 All Over Again?

I have a feeling that the fans are going to honor Buddy Ryan and the former Birds who are in attendance by bombarding the field with snowballs like its 1989. I hope it doesn't happen because you know that Philadelphia will be in the news again. If the game gets ugly then the white stuff could start flying.

We just need Governor Rendell to pay a guy $50 to try to peg Holmgren...

the only 2 sportscasters old enough to remember that game will be announcing the game tonite.

actually, i think there is some footage out there of the santa incident...i could have sworn i have seen it before.

it's never shown, and i dont think it's widely available. but it's never shown because the lore of the situation is much grander than the reality of the situation.

If you watch the History of the Eagles DVD they show a Santa on a cart (or maybe he was walking) and there's booing in the background. You can't tell if the boo's were added or if the footage was from the Vet or FF, though.

I was at the 89 game...City of Philly was supposed to remove the snow..only thing they removed was my money...they blamed the fans and pocketed the snow removal loot:P
