seattle 6-8 this decade on the east coast

there isnt a chance in hell the eagles win this game...in fact seattle minus four is the lock of the week

remember 38-0 in 98???

I hate to agree with IGY, but if I gambled on Eagles games and wasn't an Eagles fan, I think I would give away those points, too.

That said -- Hawks suck on the east Coast.  Alexander loves MNF.  The Hawks have been pretty lucky the last two weeks, and are not looking like a 9-2 team right now.  Eagles have an emotional night, stirring up energy levels.  I'll be there, and I have never seen the Eagles lose in person in Philly.

I honestly think this game could go either way.  Here's hoping it tilts a bit to the home team.

Eagles - 20
Seahawks - 17

Seattle is going to murder the Eagles.

I know this is true, yet I tell myself things like, "Look at the Seahawks road record over the past few seasons. It's atrocious. They still had a good team, allowing them to win at home; still they couldn't win on the road - at all," and "If the Eagles can shut down LT then why not Shaun Alexander?"

I still harbor hopes of playoffs, though.

Seattle is 7-6 on the road the last 2 seasons.

No shtein? I stand corrected. This game is probably going to suck unless your a fan of the Seahawks.

not really...i assume dook is slanting the numbers by counting the 'last two seasons' as last season and the season we are currently in...but if you count the last two full seasons they are 6-10 as they were a horrible 2-6 in 2004

My advice to you... don't go to this game.

That jerk. I wanted to slant the numbers by not including this season.

Shaun Alexander is dead!

QuotePhiladelphia (home): The Eagles defense is one of the league's worst against the run on the road, but it ranks first at home. This unit allows a mere 57.2 rushing YPG at Lincoln Financial Field -- that's 102.6 fewer than it surrenders on the road. What's more, eight of the 10 rushing touchdowns allowed have also been on the road.

It just hit me.  If we do shut down Alexander... we can say we shut him down in the same year we shut down LT.  Who else can say that they held down SA and LT in the same season... effectively shutting down SALT!  ;D

Get it? SALT?  See the S is for Shawn... and then....

Too bad we missed the boat on Mike Anderson.

OK... I've had my worthless thought of the day... and now I'll end this dumb ass post.   :paranoid
