Call me a big Hoyda, but I feel bad for Donovan

Obviously, he would be viewed as pro-management.  He abides by management decisions, and he toes the company line.  Most successful NFL QB's are pro-management, and only the malcontents would be bothered by that.

The Eagles have very few malcontents now, with T.O. history and Westbrook and Akers getting their dollars.

I'm with you, SD...

I've always been on the "Defend Donovan" front -- but I can intelligently criticize him as well...

"God damn it!  Could you NOT throw into Lewis' feet??!?!??!?"

He has always been more than classy, intelligent, and a good leader to the team...this season was NOT fun for him - it has been a damn media circus and more drama than a roomful of drag queens...

I like him.  I'll like it better next season post-surgery, clear headed, hopefully with some decent draft picks/pick ups whatever -- and a Reggie Brown who is more experienced.

FYI:  The same asshat (Whitlock) who said that McNabb's contract turned the locker room against him also said this in the same article...

Quote3. Vegas blows another one: Denver's defensive line will put a total clown suit on Bledsoe Thursday afternoon.

The Broncos might shut out the Cowboys on Thanksgiving. Denver is favored by two points. I can't see them winning by fewer than two touchdowns. It's just a terrible matchup for the Cowboys. The Broncos won't have to blitz to get to Bledsoe. He'll fumble at least twice and throw a couple of interceptions. Dallas' running game won't provide any relief.

I rest my case.

He also thinks the Chiefs should actively pursue Herm Edwards to replace Dick Vermeil.

I admire Whitlock for this:

My roommates from KC and he equated him to our version of SAS.  :boo
