You're a complete assclown, IGY.

There's no defending what Owens did this year.   NONE.  NADA,  ZIP, ZILCH, OVER AND OUT.

ice grillin you

im an ass cause i wanted him gone in training camp?

or im an ass for calling out all the TO cack riders who are now acting like hes a mass murderer?

i think (at least my interpretation) that rome missed your point when he read your post.

My point was, T.O. deserves whatever flaming he gets in this forum just as he deserved praises before he starting acting like a jackass.  As a fan, you can cheer and then boo players.  That's how it works.  Cheer them when they do well and boo their asses when they literally tear a team to pieces with their selfishness.  What's wrong with that?

Your post, conversely, was trolling at its worst.  You posted it solely to provoke a reaction from all of us and I'm pointing out to you that by doing so, you've acted like an assclown.

See the difference?

ice grillin you

before he starting acting like a jackass

lolol

TO started acting like this five years ago dook

and if you want to apply it only to his eagle career it started right after the superbowl...where were all these haters when he ripped mcnabb then or missed the mini camps or bashed childress or ripped macnabb again ect ect ect....ill tell you where they were...they were chest deep up TO's ass

its just pathetic that it took reading the arbitrators decision for them to finally rip the guy...and now that hes off the team hes all of sudden the second coming of jack the ripper

The first letter said they were going to do it, but I don't think they actually did - FF?  Were you basing this on the letter?

I think they decided to hold off on going after the bonus until after this hearing.  That way they would have cut-and-dry support for the inevitable grievance to come...

They didn't know during the mandatory mini-camp of any hearing to later occur.  They did know, however, that Owens was already in violation of his contract.  They started taking the money out of his game checks immediately.

This has been confirmed, even if sources in the media were unaware.

I wanted him gone early in the summer.  rjs and I were the first ones on that bandwagon at :CF.

Check the record Wigga.

How about you name some names if you're going to call people out, tuff guy?

Also, it's okay to change your mind.  You don't have to pick a position and keep it forever.  Doing that is the weakest possible.

QuoteRushing touchdowns hurt Owens' case

By REUBEN FRANK
phillyBurbs.com

PHILADELPHIA — In 1998 and again in 2002, Terrell Owens scored rushing touchdowns for the 49ers on end-arounds.

Years later, those rushing touchdowns played a pivotal role in arbiter Richard Bloch's ruling denying Owens' grievance against the Eagles.

Here's why.

On Sept. 25, during the third quarter of the Eagles' win over the Raider at the Linc, Owens caught a four-yard touchdown pass from Donovan McNabb, the 100th touchdown of his career.

Moments later, on the massive video screen in the south end zone at Lincoln Financial Field, the Eagles showed the nearly 68,000 fans at the game a taped tribute to Owens that was put together by Rob Alverino and the Eagles' TV-video production department.

As the tribute ended, Owens was shown on the Eagles' bench, tipping his cap to the cheering fans.

On Oct. 23, during the first quarter of the Eagles' win over the Chargers at the Linc, Owens caught another four-yard TD pass from McNabb. This was the 100th touchdown reception of his career.

On Nov. 3, Owens appeared on ESPN and blasted the Eagles for not honoring him after his 100th career TD catch.

"You know (their) reaction shows you the type of class and integrity of an organization that they claim not to be," Owens said.

"You know, they claim to be first class and the best organization. I just felt it was an embarrassment. It just shows the lack of class that they had. My publicist talked to the head PR guy, and he made an excuse about (how) they didn't recognize it, or they didn't realize that it was coming up. But I know that was a blatant lie. If it would have been somebody else, they probably would have popped fireworks around the stadium."

Those remarks, and others he made in the same interview ripping McNabb, were central in Reid's decision to suspend Owens two days later.

Last Friday, during Owens' grievance hearing fighting his suspension at the Philadelphia Airport Marriott, arbiter Richard Bloch watched a videotape of the Eagles celebrating Owens' 100th career touchdown. And then he watched a video of Owens' remarks on ESPN blasting the Eagles for not honoring him.

Five days later, Bloch ruled in favor of the Eagles in every aspect of Owens' grievance against the club, upholding their four-game suspension without pay and their right to banish him from the NovaCare Complex for the rest of the season.

A league source familiar with the ruling said Bloch placed considerable weight into such matters as conflicts between reality and Owens' remarks and concluded that the only reason Owens would criticize the team on national TV for not honoring him after his 100th touchdown catch when the team had actually honored him weeks earlier after his 100th touchdown was to be a destructive force in the locker room.

"When (Bloch) saw T.O. ripping the Eagles for not honoring him after his 100th touchdown catch, then watched the actual video that was shown in the stadium honoring him after his 100th touchdown, that's pretty damning evidence against him," the league source said.

Owens was also damaged by his widely publicized post-Super Bowl quote, in which he said, "I wasn't the one who got tired in the Super Bowl," an obvious reference to McNabb, who after taking several savage hits in the game had trouble calling out some plays late in the fourth quarter.

During his testimony, Owens denied that he was talking about McNabb.

"I think with that comment, I said it probably in regards to my own conditions because I hadn't practiced with the team since my injury," Owens testified. "I never referred to Donovan in that comment. A lot of people speculated and they just assumed that I was talking about Donovan. That's not what I meant ..."

Asked to explain how the comment — "I wasn't the one who got tired" — could possibly mean — "I was the one who got tired" — Owens re-plied, "I was talking about myself, because he asked me about my condition."

In his 38-page ruling, Bloch used this exchange as an example of how Owens' attacks on McNabb were willful, damaging and destructive.

"Owens' denial ... is unpersuasive," Bloch wrote. "It is difficult, at the least, to accept (his) contention that his statement, "I wasn't the one that got tired,' should be construed to mean, "I was the one who got tired.'

"But the more significant point in all of this is the perception, one of which (Owens) was fully aware, that he had, once more, taken aim at his quarterback. In this highly charged atmosphere, the perceptions are of substantial importance, and they weigh heavily in evaluating the conduct of the player immediately thereafter."

I don't.  Rome hit it dead on when he said IGY is an ass-clown.

Calling people out now, after 81 has been a terrible teammmate during the season and publishing your great self-love because you wanted him gone before he pulled the most attrotious of his acts is nothing but shameful promotion of some imagined self worth.  As far as I'm concerned, IGY has no worth on this board with his baggy-pant wearing, white-ass showing "image".

Hey, did you guys know back in 1987 I thought Osama bin-Ladin was a jerk and we should have cut him from the human race then?  No one believed me, and now everyone that thinks the same was is stupid.  Look at me everyone, I rule.

farg off IGY -- your act is old.

i love how everybody attacks IGY personally and how he types, it really is funny how petty most people are.  you don't agree with someone so you bash him personally?  sad.  but there's something to be said for that.  people who get that angry from something somebody on a message board says have a reason for being that angry.  most likely, what was said is actually true and it bothers people so much that it was correct that they attack the poster so viciously, as if to try to convince themselves that he is wrong so what he said isn't true.

but hey, whatever makes you feel better about yourself.

How about you name some names if you're going to call people out, tuff guy?

do a search its not difficult to find out

it generally going to be the people who are most boisterous about TO now...people such as myself who for the most part havent spoken on the arbitators ruling are the ones that have been anti-TO all along...as i have no need to rip the guy at this point since ive been doing it for all of this year

all the cornballs who are all over him now are the ones that wanted him on the team three months ago...even though during that time nothing much has changed
