As if my comments have been as dumb as IGY or TO/WEST IS GOD.  That's the first time i've said anything about TO, yet you jump all over it.

You really should have beated the damn giants today. Now it's going to be a bit tougher for the Cowboys to win the division. Stupid Eagles! Lito Sheppard sucks!

Arbitrator: Owens decision due Wednesday

PHILADELPHIA - Arbitrator Richard Bloch informed the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday that his ruling on last week's Terrell Owens' grievance hearing will be issued Wednesday morning.

Bloch listened to nearly 14 hours of testimony from Owens, six Eagles employees, and lawyers from the NFL and the players' union Friday at the Philadelphia Airport Marriott.

He is deciding if the Eagles were justified in their four-game suspension without pay that they hit Owens with Nov. 7 for conduct detrimental to the team. Jeffrey Kessler, the lawyer who argued Owens' case for the NFL Players Association, said the team is unjustified in both the length of its suspension and its decision to ban their star wide receiver from team functions for the final five games of the season.

The union doesn't want Bloch to just reduce Owens' suspension and fines. It also wants the arbitrator to force the Eagles to either let the wide receiver practice with the team at the NovaCare Complex or release him.

If Bloch tells the Eagles they must let Owens participate in team functions, they will either release the receiver or challenge Bloch's ability to make that decision.
