Perhaps he means what he said. Maybe he was happy the movie finally ended.

QuoteA Castlevania movie is in the offing, following a deal between Crystal Sky Pictures and Konami.

Paul Anderson, best known for Alien vs. Predator, has been named as writer and director.  Production begins in the middle of next year, with the aid of Impact Pictures, which was reposnoible for Mortal Kombat and Resident Evil's silver screen outfings.

The movie will follow the Belmont family's vampire-slaying antics.

Kingdom of Heaven rivals Road to Perdition as the most boring movie ever.

I watched KoH anyway.  Some interesting fights.  I liked the tactics they used from inside the stronghold.  The hot oil on people and the burning flesh.  The battle scenes were good...the rest sucked.
When you're riding in a time machine way far into the future, don't stick your elbow out the window, or it'll turn into a fossil.

HALO the movie

Peter Jackson gets the call and there's a synopsis at the bottom.

lol... I think most things are eventual.  Sort of like death and taxes.

You mean "eventful?"

As Sus said, I meant what I meant. ^-^ If you want to know something about that, please read Everything Is Eventual by Stephen King. It's a short story.

Watched Taxi Driver again because I haven't seen it in about 15 years and I still don't know why that movie is considered a classic.  Nothing really happens.  Boring.

i watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory this weekend.

it was pretty good. i thought the 1st hour of it was pretty stupid, but the 2nd half of it was done very well. except all of the oompa loompa songs were retarded. i thought Depp was pretty good too.

finally saw Crash this weekend.  i'm not much for dissecting movies, but I had this feeling that race played a part in the movie.

i thought the movie could've been a little more hard hitting, like it wanted to be.  it tried to be a tough, out-of-the-box movie, but in the end, every storyline worked out in one way or another.  i like movies that sometimes leave you thinking about what happens next.

i like movies that have overlapping characters and storylines, but this one took that a little to the extreme.

Wife and I watched 'In Good Company' with Dennis Quaid, Topher Grace, and Scarlett Johansson  :drool as the three main characters.

Anyone who is middle-aged or close to middle-aged will like it.  It's just too bad Scarlett again didn't show the ta-tas...
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

Saw Capote and Layer Cake this weekend.

Layer Cake was a crime caper sort of in the style of Lock Stock and Snatch. It was good, and I enjoyed it emensely, but it tried to interweave a plot-line or two too many and t was easy to lose track of who was doing what and why. I'll watch it a second time and probably enjoy it more, but would still give it a strong 3.5 or 4 out of five.

Capote was excellent, but not a movie that I want to see again. PSH was great and everything was well done, but the movie is designed to make the viewer uncomfortable and there is no payoff for your troubles at the end. As far as enjoyable movie experiences go, 2.5 but as far as quality goes, 4.5.
