Are we overrating this team right now?

This team will struggle offensively for the next few weeks.

This offense was designed to be pass-heavy from the get-go: when you have two playmakers like Owens and Westbrook, getting them the football as much as possible (via the air) seemed like a good idea.  That's out the window obviously.

Now, Reid will have to rely on a more conventional attack.  He'll have to see whether Westbrook can carry the load as a RB, if Gordon or Moats can produce as well...can Parry even be an effective blocking FB?  can McNabb be efficient enough to throw the ball only 30 times?  On top of that, he's in the process of integrating new receivers.  Getting the timing down will take time.

What I foresee is us having difficulty moving the ball consistently at first, but by the end of the season, we'll, hopefully, have a more versatile -- and balanced -- offense.
More Mahe please.

arizona is a complete mess right now...they are decimated by injuries the latest being bertrand berry whos now out for the year...i cant fathom a scenario where they lose that game if it has meaning

they are a mess right now, but they have an offense that can get up and down the field, just not get into the endzone with regularity.  Boldin should be back by then and the Eagles secondary has been awful this year.

my main point is that this is an away game, on a holiday weekend that the players would rather be at home for, I just think it has the potential to be dangerous.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

why is the giant game so crucial to the playoffs...its easily their most difficult game the rest of the year and they arent going 8-0...so they lose that and win five or six of the other seven and could easily get in the playoffs

I think it will be very important for the team's confidence to win one on the road in which they're not favored.  Plus, it would bring their division record to a more respectable 2-2, with 2 home division games left.

All of this is moot if they can't beat the Pukes on Monday night, though.

Winning a tough division game on the road is going to be extremely important. The Giants game could be the difference between 5-5 and 6-4... that's huge.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

I can't see them losing to Dallas on Monday at all.  Assuming they beat Dallas, I believe the Eagles will find a way to win at the Giants.
