McNabb has done wonderful stuff for this team.  So has Reid.  But come on, they clearly shtein the bed occassionally.  Reid and clock management is a weekly nightmare.  McNabb has farged up on basic shtein the last couple of weeks.  Eating that sack in SD for instance, costing us a FG.  Throwing to LJ in the middle of the field, costing us another FG.  That farging pick in Denver which had no right being thrown.  Throw it away, get the 3 points, maintain momentum (and to all the people saying he should've thrown to Gordon, can it;  he obviously was pretty low on the progression, I can't fault McNabb for missing him).  Gotta have game awareness, and McNabb clearly loses that focus from time to time.  Maybe he just thinks he can always make a play, but he needs to play smarter sometimes.

That's, like, really good analysis.  Stop with the smart stuff; you're not fitting in here!

He's right. As ridiculous and embarassing as it is, you hear that a lot around here. I think it is embarassing as an Eagle fan when I hear a moron on the radio bring it up or when I;m in a bar and some shteinhead says "If we had a white QB...."

I hate the race issue. I don't understand it at all and it makes me sick that people still think like this.

He's right. As ridiculous and embarassing as it is, you hear that a lot around here. I think it is embarassing as an Eagle fan when I hear a moron on the radio bring it up or when I;m in a bar and some shteinhead says "If we had a white QB...."

I hate the race issue. I don't understand it at all and it makes me sick that people still think like this.

Phreak you feel a large segment of the Eagle fan base thinks that way? I'm not ignorant to the fact that there is still racism in this country, there always will be. I find it a bit reckless to throw out a statement like that.

i like mcnabb...moreso than jaworski even...but he does have some leadership and mental toughness issues

Sometimes I find myself wishing that Donovan would be the all-american guy who still doesn't harbor resentment towards the fan base for what Cataldi and his group of 30 morons did. Sometimes I wish he'd show his funny side with the local media so we could see more of the real Donovan like he does with the national guys.

But in the end it is all about winning and producing on that field. That is the bottom line and what really matters to me as a fan. And 5 is the guy who wins ballgames. The guy flat out wins and I love that about him.

Truth be told, I am proud to have McNabb as the QB here.

I can't put a number estimation on the portion of Eagles fans who think that way. That would be impossible to do.

But I'll tell you this. Since I moved back here in 2003 from Texas I hear this sentiment way too much from people. There's always going to be some dopes who bring it up because they are losers. But I hear it a lot around here, man. I heard it on Monday from a guy in the store when I was buying the Daily News. I hear it at the bars when we're talking Eagles. I hear it a lot and I hate when I do hear it. I hear it on the radio too.

i don't know if it's the majority or not, but that segment sure is vocal at Eagles games.  as soon as McNabb starts playing poorly its boos and slurs from a lot of people.

I mean, come on guys.  There's always going to be a small segment of the population that is hopelessly ignorant but I can't believe it's a majority or even a large minority.

Most people don't give a shtein about black or white any more than they care about Catholic or Protestant.  I know I don't.  When it concerns the Eagles, I care about performance on the field, period.

i didnt throw it out there the P'sOS that drop the bombs do it...its a valid explanation as to why jaws is beloved and mcnasty isnt...its not the only reason but its a significant one

i personally hate the average eagles fan because of this. i hear it a lot too. for a fanbase that likes to call themselves knowledgable and loyal, they sure do spew a lot of hatred for the worst of reasons. i happen to find the part of the fan base to be vile dispicable shteinheads. eagles fans can be an embarassment to themselves sometimes.

now i know this isnt really the majority of fans, but it is a majority of the vocal fans.
