33-15 victory.  Good Win.  Joe Pa for coach of the year!!
When you're riding in a time machine way far into the future, don't stick your elbow out the window, or it'll turn into a fossil.

On a scale of 1-10, how farged up is FF right now?

I'd say that he's probably an 8.  Sober enough to dance to Def Leppard songs at the local oldies bar but not quite sober enough to remember doing so tomorrow morning.  He'll have only a vague recollection of some 50 year-old Penn State GILF making a pass at him and his wife's subsequent slap to the grill for him even considering it for a second.

Yep... homecoming @ Happy Valley.   Does it get any better than that?

:yay

I got pretty damn drunk.  It was nice.

By the way, all the people who said there was no doubt the Eagles would have fewer losses than PSU?  HA HA HA.

ice grillin you

you expect anything less from this board...anyone who would ever make that prediciton is insane...just the amount of games played alone says ups loses fewer than the birds

PSU opens as a 9-pt favorite vs Wisconsin.  Meanwhile, McCoy was visiting USC yesterday...

I can't wait to watch this game on Saturday...going to be a good one.

Wisconsin's defense is zesty so the Nits should be able to put up big offense especially if they pound it like they did against Purdue.

Brian Calhoun is a good RB so I do worry about him a little bit.

Wisconsin's running scheme reminds me of Denver because they always have a guy putting up huge numbers. Dayne, Davis and now Calhoun.

Considering the Eagles lost only three games last season, it was entirely reasonable to assume that they would lose less than Penn State.

No one knew that Penn State was going to be as good as they've been.  No one knew the Eagles were going to fall on hard times the way they have.

BTW: Neither season is over yet.  That's all I'll say.

Even if Penn State loses their final 2 regular games AND their bowl game, they will still have many fewer losses than this shell of an Eagles team.  The Eagles will have a minimum of 6 losses overall this year.  MINIMUM.

Possibly.  That said, until both seasons play themselves out, arguing about this is pointless.  That's what I was getting at, bro.

The Eagles will lose MANY more games than the Nittany Lions this year. That isn't even really all that debateable.

No shtein, sherlock.  It was certainly debateable when this season began, though.

i guess it was debatable if your are homertastic...but really it wasnt...if you looked at ups schedule you would have known they were starting out 5-0...and even a .500 record after that puts them at only three losses...and there was no chance the eagles were losing less than five this year much less going 13-3 again

as for this week i almost hope they lose...well not really...but with every win they get from here on out it makes that michigan loss that much more painful...there still isnt a day that goes by that i dont get raging mad at that game

I take comfort in the fact that an undefeated PSU team would have been denied a chance to play in the national title game anyway, so it's better that they have one loss and happily go to another BCS bowl.
