An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

Is it just me, or is the San Diego defense TRYING to take McNabb out of the game?

- Horse collar tackle
- Driving him into the ground
- Late hit on a slide

Nah, I'd doubt it.  The horsecollar was bs and should have been called. 

The late hit on the slide was by an amped up rookie.

I don't mind that particular TO.  This is the closest the Eagles have been all day.  Take a to and get everyone on the same page.
