its ironic that the one draft that was basically all reid was by far their best

maybe andy is the pp genius...i say move him upstairs and let him gm full time and hire a better coach

I was amazed at how he was still able to coach & be on the road scouting SEC & WAC games.

WEST is GOD

While both are very legit and qualified candidates, Brad Childress would have to go into Minnesota and change the offense Culpepper has been running for years into a WCO. I don't think Brad is exactly a clear-cut choice there. It seems to me that they mean there isn't really a rumor of those two going per se, but people around the league figure they are the 2 most qualified guys right now so they'd be obvious potential choices.
THIS SEASON IS OVER AND ANDY'S WORLD IS GRIDL

Offseason needs: 2 DEs, 1 DT, 1 OL, 2 LBs, 1 RB, 2 WRs, 1 TE, 1 KR.

Heckert has more players from his first draft still on the Eagles roster than Modrak does from his entire tenure.

I wouldn't mind if they lost Childress. We've kinda expected that for awhile now as he's been rumored for jobs for 2-3 years now.

If Childress leaves...Morningwood becomes the OC.

I do not want to lost Heckert though. And in order to lose him the Vikes (or any other team) would have to give him "final say" over the team. Wilf has said that he is going to be involved in day-to-day ops ala Jerrah and Napoleon.

If Heckert does leave, Jason Licht could be promoted.

Like I said before, if Heckert gets paid like a GM, has all-but final say, gets the league recognition as the true personnel chief of the Eagles, but gets very little of the blame if something goes wrong... a team would be hard-pressed to come up with a deal that would make him give it all up.

On the other hand, he also gets little of the glory when things go right, as he would if he was a GM/head of football operations.

I'd like to see him here.

But I'd be shocked to see them go outside the organization.

Well, in new news regarding this, apparently Wilf has said that the next hire they make will be a talent evaluator as personnel director, BUT NOT NECESSARILY HAVE THE FINAL SAY IN FOOTBALL MATTERS. That was according to PFT.com, and I went to the article from a Minny paper that it was linked to. Sure enough, that's what he said, and if he stands by that, Heckert will be staying, unless he takes a bigger gig somewhere else.
