Ok, so Saturday I went and picked up Demon at KC airport and we went downtown along with hbionic and a friend of his who's a Chiefs fan to get some dinner and go do some drinking. So after dinner Phanatic meets up with us and we all go to this bar in the Westport section of town called Kelly's Irish Pub. I've been to this bar I don't know how many times but I saw something there last night that I've never seen before.

As soon as we walked in the door it was a sea of green and white. Some guy sitting right near the door said "Welcome to West Philadelphia!" as we walked in. Then hbionic's friend walked in wearing his Chiefs jacket and was given the "Ass-hole" treatment starting from the front door all the way to the back of the bar and then back to the front again. There were a few hundred people packed into this place and only about 3 Chiefs fans. We did the Eagles chant, the fight song and the TO song.

All the times that I've been in that bar on a Saturday night before a Chiefs home game I have never seen anything like that before. Simply amazing.

Oh yeah, Christian Okoye came in the bar and I went up and talked with him for a few minutes. That is one big mo-fo. Dude still looks like he could run over people. Nice guy though.

No, actually I didn't.

I was talking with some girl who made the trip out from Philly and took her down there to get a picture with him on her camera but I left mine in my coat.

I told the girl to email me the pic though so I can photoshop myself into the picture.......which means I was drunk at the time because we all know I suck at teh fotoshop. $:-\$

The only thing I remember about the Nigerian Nightmare was a game KC played against Buffalo on MNF. Okoye bust through the line and Mark Kelso tried to get in his way. You could see from his body language he wasn't really into it, and for good reason. I don't think he hit the ground after the impact for a good 5-6yds.
