i usually agree that TO shouldn't be the only guy that Donovan should look for, but he was so damn open yesterday, he would've been foolish not to throw it to him.

Greg Lewis had a big drop yesterday, but otherwise he's been ok.  He's not the deep threat that Pinkston was so far, but with TO you don't necessarily need one.

Donovan moved aroung great considering his condition, you really couldn't tell anything was wrong with him, during the plays.  He did his typical bust out of a sack routine a couple times yesterday.

bottom line, to comeback fro 24-6 down, in Arrowhead, that's a teriffic win and shows that this team has some balls.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

And we had no Darwin Walker.

Welbourn is an afterthought. He had no bearing on the game.

Actually, it has a huge impact.

Welbourn is a better pass blocker than he is a run blocker.  With him in the game, Al Sanders would've released Gonzalez, who is the focal point of the Chiefs passing game, into the secondary.  This wasn't to be because they has the green Sampson playing RT...he was forced to keep Gonzalez on the line of scrimmage to help him.
More Mahe please.

I was actually pissed that Frederick Mitchell was not a member of that team yesterday.

I agree that not having Roaf was a huge blow. And while Welbourn has been shtein in KC, he is way better than Kevin Sampson.

Gonzalez was helping out both OT's. They had him doubling Kalu several times too when Cole or Thomas were in for The Freak.

Some of my observations from the game yesterday:

I was drunk and the Eagles won.

That is all.

Some things I did notice though:

I thought the o-line was fantastic.  McNabb had forever and a day to throw the ball most of the day.

I also thought McNabb looked just a little more mobile than he has the last couple of weeks.  Just like last week, he came out misfiring but settled down in the 2nd half.

I thought the defense really stepped it up again yesterday.  They looked a little sloppy on the first drive but even after a fumbled kick return, int and blocked FG the defense kept at it.

Speaking of fumbled kick returns.  Rod Hood and Dexter Wynn blow moose knuckles in the return game.  I noticed Reid put Mahe in there to return punts late in the game.

TO was a freaking stud yesterday.  Again.

Patterson looked awesome and Kearse finally had a productive game.  Not just stat wise but I saw him all over the field.

I didn't see who all was covering Tony Gonzales and the reason for that is because he only had 5 yards receiving so kudos to everyone covering him.

As I expected, Westbrook did not have a big game sans the 2point conversion.  I think just about every time Westy touched the ball derrick Johnson was somewhere in the area.

Ok, I'll post more later.  It's early and I'm tired and hungover not to mention the fact that Chuggie had to be at the airport at 6 farging 45 this morning.  Farger.  :boo

I've got a ton of pics from the tailgate and game that I'll post when I get home.

I agree with most of what's here...except the Oline praise shouldn't include Hicks.  He's been a liability from day one this year.

I seem to be the only person here who thought McNabb was running slow.  Certainly, he lost none of his elusiveness in the pocket, but the few times he was running to the sideline, he looked a lot slower than in the past.  The groin (or shin) is definitely bothering him, but not enough to affect his arm. >:D
Anyone but Reid.

Nice job, RJS. But can you enlighten me how "running dirt on it" will help?  :D

Exactly. One of the most overlooked skills at receiver is the ability to get open. TO does it well.

Kansas City fans leaving their stadium when they're only down 13 is a bigger disgrace.  I lost whatever respect I had for those punks when I saw that.  Just ridiculous.

Arrowhead is a LOUD stadium.  I couldn't talk to Phanatic, and he was right next to me.  Add that I felt about 2 inches tall during the beginning, and all I could think about was how much I paid for that ticket...

I took a lot of heckling during the first quarter and most of the second quarter.  At half time, I was talking with the fans around me, and they told me they were getting nervous.  When it turned to 24-24, the place fell quiet.  I mean church quiet.  All you could hear were the huge Eagles crowd up in the top corner doingthe Eagles song and chant.  6:00 minutes left in the game, and the place was emptying out fast.  Pathetic display for the self-described most passionate fans in football.  At the end of the game, only green and white jerseys throughout.

Oh, and me, Phanatic, and TO are buddies now.  After his TD, he was on the sideline near us, so we starting singing the TO song.  He looked at us, nodded his head, and cupped his ear to hear the beautiful music.  A couple of iceholes near us were trying to mock him, but by then it was too late.  The Eagles had started their charge, and were ready to inflict damage.

That game farging rocked, and I'm tired as hell and hoarse as shtein today....

They showed that on TV. Not you, but TO.  :yay
