Penn State has an excellent defense and a mistake-prone big play offense.  I'm not sitting here and saying that we should all of the sudden be considered big-time contenders for the National title or anything.  However, I am saying that if this team proves it can hang with Ohio State, who I believe to be probably the 5th or 6th best team in the country, then Penn State is fielding its best team since the chokers of 1999.  And that's progress.

Calling us the "taterskins of college football" is a low blow, but you knew that.  It's also undeserved.  Penn State has been the better team in all 5 games this season, whereas the taterskins probably beat a better team in Dallas and got downright lucky.  But you knew that too, I'm sure.

Except that FF is right and Skins fans are idiots. They don't have a big play offense, they have made two big plays this season and that's it. We had four big plays in one quarter of the Niners game. The comparison is stupid. And you're stupid. Stupid.

I watched the game now.   Did Minn even have a DLine?  Man did they suck.  D Williams is gonna be something special.  That Owens guy got farged up hard.  I thought his knee blew out too after watching the replay 50 times.  Mast be made like gumby to sustain that one.
