Ugly first half but the Eagles are only down by 4 points.  Defense has been excellent so far and now it's time for the offense to step it up.  Eagles get the ball to start the half so let's see if they can do something with it.

**NEWSFLASH** Teams are going to defend the pass until we show them we'll run the ball. I'm not putting McNabb's zesty play in the first half solely on him. The Raiders are dropping everyone back into coverage. Also, farg the extra point with Simoneau shtein. Yeah, it was fun last week in a blowout, but now it's time to go for the 2 Pt. Conversion. Defense looks stellar.

Wow. I don't understand the rationale of signing a kicker and not activating them this week when Akers leg is probably its most tender. Smooth move by making that decision.

This game is really annoying me. The defense is playing extremely well but the offense just can't do anything. The run/pass balance is horrible as well.

Lets hope a new team comes out in the 2nd half.

You guys act like it matters if we go for 2 or not. Whenever we score a TD they will get the ball at midfield because of Bartrum not being a kicker.

This is seriously a disgrace. UNACCEPTABLE. How can you not have a backup kicker ready? This is embarassing. They farged up big time.

That is one of the most backward decisions I've ever seen.

I was thinking the same thing Z.The worse thing was they put him back in after the first kick.

They were never going to use two spots for kicking. It was either start Akers or start France. They signed him to start games if Akers couldn't, not to sub in. Akers looked good in practice and was medically cleared to play. If they thought what happened on the opening kickoff was a real possibility, they never would have played Akers in the first place.
