They're the losingest franchise in the history of professional sports.  Period.

Comparing them to Temple is an insult to Temple.

The Phillies don't win important games. They win the game AFTER important games. Wait til they're trailing by 4 or 5 in the WC race. Then they'll win a few.

Myers was fantastic August 31 against the Mets (Pedro game).

Since then, he's been fair to put it nicely. Pitched okay against Houston 3er in 7 innings, Dave Bell error to begin the game sure didn't help things. He was bad the next start against Florida, then mediocre in his next one against Atlanta (4r in 6ip). So, he has not been awful. Just not great. Or good.

Based on what he's done the entire year following consecutive bellow average outings, he is due for a gem. Let's hope the trend continues.

I miss Eric Milton.  At least the Phils scored a lot while he gave up 2-3 HR's/game.
