I'll just say that if the taterskins think Moss is gonna put up 159 every week they are going to be extremely disappointed. He's not even better than Coles. He had one good game against a paper thin secondary.

Nope, that's not going to happen every day. I'll add that while we aren't paper thin, but we sure as heck were well toasted in the last 5 minutes and that's when it really counts.

It only counted becuase your OC went into a shell and had the team settle for a figgie instead of driving the nail into the coffin. That or having 2 yard routes on 4th and 4. And what was with that 2 minute pass play? Why were they rushing to get a play off instead of milking the clock. That whole 4th quarter was one monumental collapse since they could have put the game away so many times.

That was the best thing to read this morning.

Knowing that the Skins had 3 minutes of play in the whole game...and that Dallas sucked enough to blow it at home on MNF.

Best possible ending I could have ever asked for. (In a realistic fashion)

I would've spend for the stadium collapsing, but thats just me.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

MURP

2 TD's in 8 quarters.  The Skins are so awesome.

MDS

Two freak touchdowns and everyone is back on the bandwagon. Lovely.

QuoteI've said from the beginning of preseason, if our offense plays like they did in those 2 minutes last night, we go to the playoffs. We already have a playoff defense. When our offense steps up to the plate, we're going to be hard to beat.

QuoteI say we start talking Superbowl and destiny.

And Art, the taterskins/Coach Gibbs/Mr. Snyder kiss-ass ball tickler chimes in:

QuoteI have more proof for you.

Eric and I were on the field. I got a huge hug from Renaldo Wynn and thanked him. I thanked Daniels. We were in the hallway near the locker room. Snyder came SPRINTING DOWN the hall. The look on his face and in his eyes was the PRECISE same look I had. Eric had.

It was a look of blissful happiness mixed with the need to cry. He's a fan. That I know more than anything.

Ahh....winning the superbo- i mean, a week 2 game against dallas is awsome.

The Skins had their big win of the year last night...as Atlanta did Week 1.  The Eagles are waiting until their game scheduled for Feb 5th in Detriot...

Did the taterskins beat the Dallas Cowboys on MNF 14-13, scoing 2 TDs in the final 3.5 minutes? Yes.

Did the taterskins win a game against an NFC opponent?  Yes.

Did the taterskins win a game, in week 2, that should have caused a gatorade bath and excessive celebration?  No.

The point of view is that they just won a week 2 game - much like Tennesse, Chicago, Tampa - all on a list of 16 teams that one this weekend.  That type of celebration is for making the playoffs, winning the division, winning a trip to the SB, or winning it all.  That is NOT the type of celebration that should be after a week 2 improbable win.  An emotional win, yes - but not a "celebrate like you've on the bowl" situation.

if it helps you sleep better, nice win, good 4 minutes of football you put up, enjoy the bye week, then back to reality.

Jake,
The fact remains, that for the majority of the game, you guys were handled. Just about any other team would have closed it out with a field goal or touchdown. Brunell looked like shtein for 9/10s of the game, as did the rest of the offense. On two plays, Moss beat out an overrated safety in coverage. I'll give your coaching staff credit for exploiting that match up. But to think the Skins played great on ANY level last night is a joke. And Brunell is still on the downward spiral. Don't kid yourself.
"The very existence of flamethrowers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, "You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.""  R.I.P George.

Larry

I just love the fact that their comeback means Mark Brutal will be their QB for the rest of the season.  No way God-fearing Gibbs benches his noodle-armed apostle now.  :-D
More Mahe please.
