I think the falcons were blowing up the bootleg up everytime it was tried except once maybe. Outside blitzers were on direct line to the Qb, pa/bootleg had no effect.

Well of course play action had no effect.  We didn't hurt them with the run.  Until you do, PA is shteine.  And the Eagles throw all the time anyway, so they are particularly unlikely to get much from play action.
